Land Rover Freelander 2 production reaches 300,000

The 300,000th Land Rover Freelander 2 was driven off the production line at Jaguar Land Rover's Halewood Operations plant in Merseyside this week.
The milestone was achieved by a 2.2-litre Diesel model in Barolo Black, which is destined for a customer in Brazil - one of Land Rover's fastest-growing markets.
The four-wheel-drive Freelander 2 is offered in the UK with a 2.2-litre diesel engine available in two power outputs: the 150bhp TD4 and the 190bhp SD4.
For buyers looking to maximise fuel consumption, a two-wheel drive model is also available, called the eD4. It produces emissions of 158g/km and returns 47.1mpg.
The Freelander 2 range is priced from £22,250 on the road.
